This course is designed for you to be able to recognize the terminology of the Engineered Lumber Products industry. In addition, you will be brought up to speed on what code says in relation to specifying Engineered Lumber Floor systems. Lastly, manufacturer literature will be used to specify and detail in a complete manner.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
• Understand common terminology used in the indusry
• Review proper installation methods when using engineered wood products
• Gain a better understanding of how to properly inspect the framing for manufacturer compliance
• Identify good and bad installation methods, and more importantly, identify those that are problematic
